Education in the most definitive sense is the process of humanizing mankind. The sweeping changes that came about in the educational arena in the recent past; is a result of this vision. We at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Gandhinagar cantt aims at accomplishing this dream of holistic development of the students to fashion them into wholesome individuals who would be assets in the society and nation. Provision of emotional intelligence is important in preparing students to meet the future. This would help them to deal with all kinds of life challenges, easily and successfully, including challenges to succeed academically. What we strive to do is to provide direction and motivation and make the children feel free to develop their potential. And this in turn helps them in achieve the four pillars of education proposed by UNESCO namely: learning to Know, learning to do, learning to be and learning to live together.

Dear students, problems are the steps to higher achievements. So, face them and change them into a source of vigor. ‘In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing and the worst thing you can do is nothing.’ So, never put off till tomorrow what you can do today and never trouble anyone for what you can do yourself.
