Education in the most definitive sense is the process of humanizing mankind. The picture of the -------------- to be created through the process is a man of character & morals, a human being useful to others. The sweeping changes that came about in the educational arena in the recent past; is a result of this vision. We at Kendriya Vidyalaya Gandhinagar cantt aims at accomplishing this dream of holistic development of the children to fashion them into wholesome individuals who would be an asset to the society and nation. Provision of emotional intelligence is important in preparing children to meet the future. This would help them to deal with all kinds of life challenges, easily and successfully, including challenges to succeed academically. What we strive to do is to provide direction and motivation and make the children feel free to develop their potential. And this in turn helps them in achieving the four pillars of education proposed by UNESCO to be developed by formal education institutions, namely: learning to Know, learning to do learning to be and learning to live together

Dear children, problems are the steps to higher achievements. So, face them and change them into a source of vigor. Remember, you do not deserve to enter the path to success. Also, your success is not measured by what you have achieved, but the failures you have faced, and the courage that keeps you fighting against a barrage of obstacles. ‘In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.’ So, never put off till tomorrow what you can do today and never trouble anyone for what you can do yourself.
